Question

What is a money dance?

Answer

The money dance is a cultural tradition at many wedding receptions where guests offer the newlyweds money to dance with them, hug them, share words of advice congratulate them overall well wishes or they shower the couple with money. The custom is to help establish the couple in their new life together, or to show how much they are loved and appreciated.

Question

Who needs to RSVP and when should I RSVP by?

Answer

EVERY SINGLE PERSON NEEDS TO RSVP! Rather you are in the wedding, close aunt or cousin, just got off the phone with the couple you need to RSVP either through our wedding website here, by phone or by mailing in. Everyone needs to RSVP NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 16, 2021. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Question

May I bring more than one plus one?

Answer

No you may not. No exceptions. Each guest gets only 1 plus 1. If you plan on bringing a plus 1 you must RSVP their names by September 16, 2021.

Question

Should I bring cash with me to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, it is our recommendation that you do bring cash. You are going to want to bring cash for the money dance with the couple as well as tip money for the bar tenders. While the bar is completely open for any drink you want at no cost to the guest, it's always nice to tip the servers.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

This is a semi formal/ formal wedding so please dress accordingly. And please for the love of God don't wear a toga or a superhero costume. I know the theme is Wonder Woman but this is not a Childs birthday party. You can wear your best Greek inspired outfit to fit in with the theme though.

Question

Can I use my cell phone to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While I am not going to tell anyone they can't have their phones out but we strongly encourage everyone to not pull their phones out while I am walking down the aisle. Be in the moment. However, if you choose to do that please be mindful of the photographer and videographer we have paid for and don't get in their way.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are registered at Amazon and Target. We also encourage people to give to our money fund which will go towards our honeymoon or our savings for buying a new home. All of the links to our registries and money funds are in the registry tab on our wedding website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You may begin arriving to the wedding ceremony at 4:20pm. I highly recommend getting to the location early as seating will be limited

Question

Will I be required to wear a mask?

Answer

While we strongly suggest you wear a mask, we will not require it. We do prefer our guest to either wear a mask, get tested for COVID-19 or be fully vaccinated at our wedding, but we will not force this on anyone. However, if you are not vaccinated and do not take a rapid test before the ceremony we do suggest wearing a mask.
