Is there a dress code for the Wedding?

Answer

For our wedding, we’re excited to embrace a black-tie formal dress code! Guests should feel comfortable and glamorous—think Met Gala meets Kentucky Derby. We encourage fun textures like feathers and sequins, but please avoid black, red, or white dresses. This is a chance to showcase your style while celebrating our special day! When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP to our wedding as soon as possible,, but by February 14, 2025, at the latest, so we can finalize plans for events, hotels, and transportation. We want to make your visit to DC as seamless and enjoyable as possible, and your quick RSVP helps us coordinate everything perfectly. Thanks for helping us with this important detail—we can't wait to celebrate with you! If you are still undecided after two years, please RSVP by February 14, 2025.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending" but find that you will not make it, please notify us as soon as you are aware.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size of our venue, we kindly ask that you limit your party to the individuals listed on the envelope. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at our welcome party, and we can’t wait to celebrate with the whole family! However, please note that the wedding ceremony and reception will be for adults only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to enjoying this special time together!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure everyone is properly greeted and seated before the ceremony begins, please arrive at the venue by 5:00 p.m. This will allow time to get settled and enjoy the start of the festivities without any rush. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there parking for the Wedding?

Answer

Due to limited parking at the venue, we encourage guests to avoid driving if possible. The venue is conveniently Metro and ride-share accessible, making it easy to get here without the hassle of parking. If you prefer to drive, a few nearby public garages offer paid parking. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you!

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterward. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

Please choose a seat, not a side—the bride wants everyone to sit as close to the front as possible. Your presence up front makes the ceremony even more special!
