Drive up here for epic leaf peeping. About an hour from Denver. Be prepared for crowds.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park

More leaf peeping. Will need to purchase a state park pass before parking. Can buy at the visitor center. Likely to be busy. Recommend going early or late in the day.

Amazing place if you want to take a drive. 1.5 hours from Littleton.

Dillon Reservoir

1.5 hours from Littleton. A base to many of our ski mountains. Beautiful views for leaf peeping. Trails to walk around the lake, many restaurants. You can continue further to Breckenridge or Vail ski resorts.
