We met after he got hired on the the MOB (a traveling team for DB.) I kept hearing the best things about him from every other lead and I kept wondering when I would be able to work with him! We finally meet at a leadership event and I later told him I don't know why we haven't traveled together yet but I get a feeling it will be for a reason and for a that it wouldn't be a short trip! A few weeks later we were off to kennewick Washington together and we spent close to 2 months together, learning how to work together and building a friendship! A year later we had decided that it was a friendship that we wanted to last forever.
We decided we wanted to be together regardless of being in different states and traveling for work and we were blessed when we got offered two positions in Tucson, AZ where we got to move to the desert and start a life together!! That Christmas Eve Tanner took me to Saurao National Park to watch the sunset and open one of my Christmas gifts early! The Present was a box of notes with our favorite memories and adventures written down and he asked me to MARRY HIM! (spoiler: I said yes!)
