Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you want! It is recommended if you want to do any excursions around the island or go to/from San Juan frequently. If you are planning to stay around the hotel area for the weekend, it isn't necessary although you will need a few rides to activities that Alvin or others with cars will be able to take you to. Nothing in the Dorado area is more than a 5-10 min drive.

I don't want to rent a car, is it easy to get around?

Answer

Our friend Alvin will be taking people all weekend to/from the activities. His number is (787) 479-4004 (Call/text/WhatsApp). It is about $30-$40 (depending on demand) for an Uber to/from the airport. If Alvin is available, he'll get you! Alvin knows all of the hotels in the area and where all of our events are so there is no worries about getting lost!

What is the COVID situation?

Answer

As with all states, this is always changing. At the moment, Puerto Rico requires proof of vaccination. If you don't have a vaccination, you will need to show a negative test at the airport. Masks are required in in-door, public areas, but all of the weekend activities will be outdoors or in open-air venues. We will keep everyone updated if/as things change.
