On a day as normal as any other, Stephen was walking passed his colleague’s desk and noticed someone he’d never seen before on the monitor. He instantly bugged his colleague on the call but got no response. He paced around her desk and waited for the call to end. As soon as the interaction ended he began berating his colleague with questions, “Who is she? How do I work with her? Where does she live?” Stephen got all of his questions answered and was told her name was Ashley. Unfortunately, he found he won’t be sharing any accounts because they are in different sections of the business. Instantly he began to devise a plan to make their path’s converge and his coworker obliged. A week later they started working with a new client together and met for the first time on a zoom call. Within moments of the call ending, Stephen was coming up with a reason for why they needed to meet more. In no-time weekly scheduled meetings turned to daily check-ins and those turned to wake up calls and goodnight texts. The flame started to slowly grow but was stifled by the 1000 miles between the couple. Ashley figured out a way to travel to Stephen and spend time with him in Tucson. The two spent every moment together and when around colleagues, admired each other from afar. Meeting made them realize there was so much more than playful flirting. Stephen was amazed by Ashley: demeanor, personality, the way she spoke and treated others. Everything about her made him crave more. The trip came and went in the blink of an eye and the flame that started had exploded into a blaze. They were infatuated with each other.
