In 2018, Stefan and Ashley's paths first crossed at UNC-Charlotte. Ashley, along with her roommate Jess, were busy decorating their new college dorm and needed a hammer to hang up some photos. In a spontaneous moment, they decided to ask the neighbors across the hall for help. Sam, one of Stefan's roommates, answered the door and kindly lent them the hammer they needed. After completing their project, Ashley and Jess returned to return the borrowed tool. It was then that Stefan, somewhat awkwardly, accepted the hammer and let the door close without a word. Little did they know, this brief encounter would mark the beginning of their journey together. The camaraderie between the four boys in Levine 102 and the two girls in Levine 101 quickly blossomed into a close-knit group of friends. They shared meals, watched movies late into the night, and created lasting memories throughout their first year at college. As time passed, Ashley and Stefan's friendship deepened, and on March 9th, 2019, they officially became a couple.
