A unique sculpture/ monument that embodies the quirkiness of the PNW. Worth stopping by on your way to or from Seattle.
Our first date was a short hike to this waterfall.
A ski hill in the winter, but still beautiful in the summer. You can take a Gondola ride up the mountain, and have a meal and a beer at the top.
The Bride's favorite town! Very cute little town, with small shops to explore, and various wine/ beer spots to savor. This town is right on the water with beautiful views of Whidbey Island and Canada. (A ferry to Whidbey island also departs from this town.)
Normally a winter wonderland destination, but still a good location for cider tasting and unique shops. There are a few hikes nearby as well.
Breathtaking views of the hood canal, only 20 minutes away from the Bride and Groom's house in Bremerton!
A GORGEOUS LAKE!! You can rent kayaks at the lodge or go for a hike. Mount Storm King is a killer of a hike, with you utilizing ropes tied to trees and rocks to help you ascend the last 100 yards. Marymere falls is a much more mellow alternative for a hike.
A more challenging hike, but the view is worth the effort! You'll understand how it got it's name when you're sitting on a huge boulder that gently slopes into the lake. Beautiful aqua blue when I was there and an extra plus: the chipmunks are friendly here!
