Scott and Ashley met through frisbee when they were both in the Ann Arbor area. They became fast friends, and eventually the stars aligned and they decided to try dating in 2017. It was obvious from the beginning that they had started something special. Over the years Ashley and Scott have been on multiple frisbee leagues and club teams together, captained a team together, and even coached the Michigan Women's B team together. They moved into an apartment in Ypsilanti after Ashley graduated from Michigan. Shortly after moving in together, COVID hit and gave them a great chance to adopt their first fur child, Oreo. Fast forward to 2021 when Ashley was accepted into medical school. Ashley, Scott, and Oreo packed up their stuff, briefly moved in with Scott's Dad and step Mom (Gordie and Paulette), and then moved to Washington, DC where Ashley started medical school. They decided 3 was too few for their family, and adopted a second cat named Kit Kat. Scott finally proposed in July 2022 and they decided having a wedding after medical school graduation was their best move. Ashley is currently finishing up her last year of medical school, and Scott and Ashley can't wait to see where residency brings them in July 2025. Before then though, let's get them hitched!!
