Sara's Wedding Party
Kailie and Sara met in 2014 during freshman orientation at Elmhurst College and connected almost instantly. Both music education majors at the time, they shared an almost identical class schedule and both played in the college's wind ensemble. As college roommates, they could often be found sitting on their floor (yes, they did have furniture), eating hummus, and complaining about the patriarchy. Sara had the privilege of standing beside Kailie on her wedding day in 2022, and she is excited to have Kailie do the same for her this summer!
April Raper
Ashley's Wedding Party
April and Ashley met back in 2013 through our mutual friend, Cierra. Since then Ashley and April have traveled across the world together, eaten all kinds of delicious food, and really can’t stop laughing around each other. (So if they bust out in giggles, just let it happen. It’ll pass). April has stood by Ashley's side through it all, and she's so excited to have April by her side on this special day!

Sara's Wedding Party
AmyBeth and Sara met in the height of online learning of 2020 through their graduate program at Pacific School of Religion. They helped each other make it through the rollercoaster that was seminary. AmyBeth continues to be the foundation of Sara's California community and her go-to protest/good trouble buddy. She is even the artist behind Sara and Ashley's beautiful engagement photos! Sara is so honored to have AmyBeth in her life and in her wedding party!

Ashley’s Wedding Party
Cierra and Ashley have known each other since sophomore year of high school. Their bond formed in choir and through their musical theatre experiences (so glad she introduced Ashley to The Addams Family and The Little Mermaid musicals). From summer days at Cierra's Memaw’s to fancy dinners for our birthdays to seeing her become a mom, Ashley and Cierra been there for each other! Ashley was there for Cierra and Austin’s wedding, and now she's so excited for Cierra to be by her side!

Sara's Wedding Party
On an August morning in 1999, three-year-old Sara was woken up by her grandma to learn she became a big sister. Sara's early recollections of Hannah include asking if all she was going to do was cry and if returning her to the hospital was an option. Sara would eventually learn that she couldn't ask for a better sibling. Today, they stay connected across the distance by their shared love of Stardew Valley and constant updates about their children (cats). Sara is so thankful that Hannah immediately welcomed Ashley as her new sister, and she can't wait to have her play this special role on her special day!

Ashley's Wedding Party
Amy and Ashley met in their first year at University of the Pacific in the music therapy program. Their friendship was full of study sessions, late-night food runs, stealing things from the cafeteria (shhhh), and engrossing themselves in music therapy. Now that they’ve grown up a little since then, they celebrate each others wins, get together with their best college ladies group (have to plan 6 months in advance because adulting), and show up for each other when they can! Not to mention Amy is one of the funniest people Ashley knows! She is so honored to have Amy by her side on her wedding day! “Because I knew you, I have been changed for good…”

Flower Princess
Harper, Sara's four-year-old goddaughter and daughter of college friends Ben and Adelle, will be gracing our presence as the "princess with flowers." She is very excited to travel to California for the first time and see mountains!

Aurelia will be our doting “Flower Princess” for our wedding ceremony; beloved daughter of Cierra & Austin and Sara & Ashley’s “niece”. We are so excited to have her play this part on our special day!
