We met in a Chemistry class at UC Santa Cruz; Roman was wearing a tie dye shirt. After class we went and climbed a tree, and we both knew we were in for something special. We spent the early days of our relationship camping, going to the beach, and collecting succulents. Our relationship has been built upon our mutual love of nature, and we are so thrilled to be getting married in a redwood forest!
We had a free trip planned to go to Hawaii with Roman's work in May 2020. Roman had a detailed idea of how he was going to propose, but we had to cancel our trip because of Covid-19. One evening we were cooking and listening to music in our apartment when he just did it. We got engaged in our kitchen, and it was perfect. Now we are going to go on our Hawaii trip for our honeymoon!
We are so excited to share with you our plans for after the wedding! Roman recently started a new job working from home, and I am going to start travel nursing. This will give us the opportunity to explore new cities and states every three months! We can't wait to make amazing memories during this special time of our lives.
