The weather in Hluboká nad Vltavou during this time of the year is mild and spring-like, with daytime What will the weather be like this time of year? temperatures typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C and cooler evenings around 5°C to 10°C. While sunny weather is common, there’s always a chance of occasional rain, so it’s a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater for the cooler evenings.
The ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held indoors.
The ceremony and reception will be held at Hotel Štekl, located in Hluboká nad Vltavou, about 2.5 hours by car from Prague.

We recommend to dress in semi-formal attire. However, wear what’s comfortable to you. We’ll be celebrating in style, but make sure you're also comfortable for dancing and exploring the venue. Bring a light jacket or wrap for the evening.

Yes! Hotel rooms at Hotel Štekl have been arranged for guests. You can check in upon arrival before the ceremony. The hotel has amenities such as a spa, swimming pool, and on-site restaurant. FAIR WARNING: It is an older hotel though :D
Yes! Hotel Štekl is part of the Hluboká Castle grounds. You’re welcome to explore the gardens and surrounding area before or after the ceremony. We’ve set aside some time for you to enjoy the surroundings before the reception dinner.
Absolutely! We prepare light food for our welcome party. Of courses there will be our reception dinners for the evening. Let us know in advance about any dietary restrictions.

Return transportation details will be shared on-site during the wedding. Current schedule is set at noon on May 1st and expected to return to Prague before 3pm. We will make announcements toward the end of the night and assist guests with the departure plan.
Yes! Breakfast is included with your stay at Hotel Štekl. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast the next morning after the wedding day in the hotel’s dining area.
The local currency is the Czech Koruna (CZK). While most places, including the hotel and restaurants, do accept credit cards, it’s may still be a good idea to carry some cash for small purchases, or shops that may not accept cards. General recommendation is the equivalent of 1,000–2,000 CZK (~$340-700HKD/$60-125CAD) in cash per person for miscellaneous expenses like snacks, souvenirs during travel. You can withdraw local currency at ATMs upon arrival in Prague or exchange currency before you travel. Let your bank know you're traveling to avoid any issues with your card abroad.
