Ashley and Rico first met in their high school Spanish class and quickly developed a close bond. In fact, they learned more about each other than they did Spanish. Though they had feelings for one another the timing was never right, but they maintained a close friendship throughout high school. After high school, life pulled them in different directions, but they never forgot one another. The next decade for them unfolded as a season of growth, hard-earned lessons and discovery. Eventually, the good memories, sense of comfort, and foundation of trust that left a lasting impression brought Ashley and Rico back together. Through each other, they found the courage to love again. And with that, a beautiful journey of adventures, hearty laughter, and healing began. Ashley and Rico now reside in Visalia with their four furry children Zelda, Chewie, Yoshi, and Misty. Rico is successfully leading two youth programs at a local non-profit organization while continuing his higher education. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, and PC gaming with friends. Ashley is finishing her master's degree in social work while interning as a school social worker. In her spare time she enjoys painting, spending time with her family and friends, exercising, and rewatching The Office for the umpteenth time. Together, Ashley and Rico enjoy fishing, watching classic movies and TV shows, and traveling. Rico and Ashley hope their wedding will be the party of a lifetime and they are thrilled to share their special day with you!
