It was Ashley's birthday and Richard was at a friend's house next door. He found out Ash lived next door and had to go say hi and wish her a happy birthday. Richard "kicked" his basketball down the road which led it to Ash's house where she was sitting outside by the pool with her family. He wished her a happy birthday and the rest was history. Ash and Richard started dating on July 3rd, 2012. Ash and Richard went to high school together, semi formal dances, proms and graduations together. In 2014 Richard began his journey at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. The beginning was rough but it was well worth it. Ash and Richard could not only see each other but also could not communicate via phone as well. It was a long couple weeks until Richard graduated bootcamp. In 2018 Richard graduated MMA and they were both busy creating a life together. Richard and Ash moved in together in May of 2019. Ash and Rich were so incredibly happy. Shortly after moving in together, on September 5th 2019 Rich asked Ash to spend forever with him, where of course she was in much shock, but most definitely said yes. Ashley and Richard are now coming up on their soon to be 10 year anniversary where Richard will give Ash his last name. We cannot wait to spend forever with each other and see all the incredible things we are are going to accomplish next, besides being so incredibly happy together.
