Amazing dumplings and close to the hotel- lovely for lunch and dinner. Vegetarian friendly.
GREAT authentic Chinese food- must try the Eggplant with Garlic. Wonderful take out as well
Need Boba? Or a snack? Delicious, a Chicago classic
Best ramen (personal opinion obviously) in Chicago. Yes, this is in Chinatown, but the quality and vibe is great. Miso base is delicious, or if you're feeling ambitious, go for the Hell Ramen!
Great bar for live music (a bit off the beaten path for sure and for music) and drinks!
Tasty restaurant and bar, pretty low key, located right across from the hotel and good for a fast snack or Brunch
Cute coffee shop with outdoor seating for breakfast and a latte. Nice short walk from the hotels and they make a good cup of coffee!
Our favorite little Greek Cafe in Greek Town. The pasta is just delicious and the outdoor seating is usually available (a plus in this neighborhood). When we first got Chance, I'd drag Raghav here for dinner to work on Raghav's concern leaving Chance at home. We have some great memories here and celebrated some wonderful moments here!
They have a great invention- the Artopeda- it's like a croissant crossed with hand pie, stuffed with devious greek flavors. Great for a fast meal or an espresso.
Cool, trendy coffee bar with GREAT coffee. Right off the bustling neighborhood of West Loop, this is our favorite place for a pick-me-up.
Sleek sushi restaurant, make sure to make a reservation though! Creative and moody, and fairly romantic.
Very creative, delicious restaurant. Raghav and I stumbled upon this place by accident and then started going as often as we could justify. Wonderful drinks, outdoor seating, and the best upscale Mexican food. Make a reservation here as well.
Favorite sandwich in Chicago, hands down. Get the artichoke sandwich with Muffeleta for an authentically Chicago/Italian experience. This deli is just amazing, don't be deceived by the appearance or the sometimes long line, it's worth a trip in my humble opinion.
DONUTS! BREAKFAST SANDWICHES! What more could you want? Try the Santa Fe or Avocado sandwich and their old fashion donut for an indulgent and amazing breakfast.
Fun, interactive museum- good for kids and adults alike!
A wonderful way to spend a day in Chicago! The Impressionist and Modern Wing are a must and the miniatures or armory are fairly unique. Located in Millennium Park, this is a pretty quintessential day in the city.
Always a fascinating Museum, the MCA is a perfect place to spend a quiet afternoon reflective on challenging art. Obviously, it has an amazing gift shop as well.
For those looking for a less traditional activity, this can be a fun visit!
High quality bagels and schmear. Andersonville is a wonderful neighborhood to walk, shop, and enjoy a peaceful corner of the city.
Best bakery in Chicago, very casual but just crummy. Almond crunch cake or their daily quiche will be the best you've had.
The iconic Bean, the lovely gardens- if it's your first time in Chicago I'd make sure to stop by! Visit the Lurie Garden for a quiet moment in the tall grasses, or walk through to the lakeshore path if you'd like to stretch your legs with a lakeside breeze.
They have sea otters, sharks, and a coral reef, oh my!
A taste of NH's best chocolate and a lovely place to enjoy a cup of strong hot chocolate and watch the city's hustle and bustle.
Best deep dish in town, if that's your thing! Don't let the shabby exterior throw you off, it's worth the wait and the full stomach for the next few days.
Amazing Thai in a lovely corner of Wicker Park. Great noodles and curries, a Friday favorite.
