Natosha is my soul sister/bester. We met when I student taught with her and have been inseparable since. She’s not only my best friend, but my mentor. I always go to her when I need to be uplifted or when I want to drown in my sorrows. She can cure a bad day by singing Taylor Swift at the top of our lungs. Natosha is one of the sweetest, nicest, kindest people that I know. I also gained a little bestie by being friends with her. Our favorite saying, “if you see her, you see me. If you me, you see her. If you don’t see me, you don’t see her.”

Samalyse and I have been best friends since sophomore year of high school when I forced her to be my friend in science class. We spent every waking minute together as teenagers. We went through so many life changes and our friendship has stood the test of time. From teenagers to adulthood with our big girl jobs. Samalyse is my yin to my yang.

Taylor is my unofficial cousin. Taylor and I hit it off right away and I knew we were going to best friends the first time we hung out. I met Taylor officially at the commissary where we worked, but she grew up with my brother, Peter. Taylor is one of those friends who you can call up any time and she is there right away. She is the reason Rae and I got together. Bless the blue stang!

Kyla and I became best friends when we worked at the commissary and became a trio with Taylor. We were always together whether it be driving around the town, dancing in the streets on a hot summer night, or laying on the couch. She is my forever dancing partner and go to girl when I want to have a good time. She has a contagious laugh that fills the room and always sets mine off.

My Lanes!! Lanie is Natosha’s daughter and my unofficial niecey bester. She is such a great time and always makes me laugh. She is such a smart, spunky, hilarious kid. Lanie opened my eyes to working with kids with autism and how to support them. She’s my Taylor Swift loving girl! Papa Rae and her Auntie bester Ashley love her so much!
