We have known each other since middle school, but first became friends in high school. Shortly after becoming closer friends, we started dating our freshman year. From the awkward beginnings of needing parents to drive us to see each other to all of the high school dances to having to do long distance when college came around, we've been through it all!

Noah came to visit me in Minneapolis after two months of living in different cities. He had joined me at a company happy hour and then he took me to the Basilica of Saint Mary to pray and explore the beautiful church. When we went outside to see the front of it, Noah asked some friends who were along if they would take a picture of us - the first time in 7 years of dating where he was the one who asked for a picture! That should've told me something was up, but I still had no clue. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, to which my mouth dropped open and I happily said yes. Noah continued with the surprises by having both of our families and a few friends join us to celebrate.
