Maid of Honor

Maddie and Ashley have been friends since the womb and are non-biological sisters. Maddie and Ashley's moms are best friends from high school and have remained best friends until this day which kick started Ashley and Maddie's friendship. Though they never went to the same school with Ashley living in Waterford and Maddie living in East Troy, countless family parties, sleep overs, and family trips always kept Maddie and Ashley close. Maddie is the one person who has truly seen Ashley through every stage of life. There have been countless memories, stories, and inside jokes that they share and adding this new memory of the wedding will only be the next chapter.

Shayla Batty

Shayla and Ashley met their freshmen year at the Milwaukee School of Engineering when they both played on the volleyball team. They started to hang out a little more as the season went on and ended up having several classes together due to being in the same major of Mechanical Engineering. During their Sophomore year they lived together in the suite style dorm rooms with two other roommates and continued to become closer as they discovered how much they had in common. Due to getting along so well they ended up renting an apartment together their Junior and Senior year and Ashley could not have asked for a better roommate! They made it through engineering school together and Ashley was so honored to be a part of Shayla's wedding and cannot wait for Shayla to be a part of hers.

Sydney and Ashley met a couple months after Nick and Ashley started dating. Sydney is a part of Nick's friend group from high school and Ashley got to know Sydney through the times that this group would hang out. As they got to know each other better their personalities and interests meshed really well and they became very close. Sydney is also dating one of Ashley and Nick's mutual friends from college, Connor, and they have been able to go on countless double date adventures together and cannot wait for the wedding to add to that list!

Jenna Cemke

Jenna is one of Nick's older sisters and Ashley has absolutely loved getting to know her better. Ashley has been able to get to know her through a variety of holidays, a trip to Nashville, where Meghan (Nick's younger sister) currently lives, and a trip down to see her in Orlando where we all went to Disney together. Each of those time have been an absolute blast and Nick and Ashley cannot wait to have her a part of their special day!

Meghan Cemke

Meghan is Nick's younger sister and Ashley has absolutely loved getting to know her better as well! It has always been a blast when Meghan is home from school and we are all able to hang out and go do different things together. Nick and Ashley have also had a great time going down to visit Meghan in Nashville where she goes to school at Belmont University. It has been a lot of fun having her show off her favorite spots in the area. We cannot wait for her to be a part of our wedding!

Trevor Hancock

Best Man

Trevor is Ashley's younger brother and throughout the time of Nick and Ashley dating, Nick has been able to get to know Trevor very well and considers him to be the little brother he never had. Through countless family events and holidays as well as a vacation out to Utah they have been able to grow close. They both enjoy sports and outdoor activities and have been able to bond over it. Nick and Ashley are both excited to have him be a part of our wedding.

Cam Knapp

Cam and Nick have been friends since early middle school where they quickly found the common love of snowboarding. Many very long cold days were spent together at Sunburst snowboarding, where they would easily spend 10 hours on the hill. As the snow turned into spring, time spent at Sunburst Ski Hill turned into skate parks and countless days in Nick's back yard on the trampoline. To this day they both still go on snowboarding trips up to the UP and go every hunting together every chance they get.

Connor Sadowski

Connor and Nick originally met through Nick Nuchikat much like Ashley and Nick. Although they have not been friends for too long, Connor has been a close friend that Nick can always rely on for solid advice, a helping hand, and always a good time. Nick will always credit meeting Ashley to both Connor and Nick Nuchikat, because if it weren’t for their great friendship and calling Nick out to make a move, Nick may not have what he has today.

Eric Sawyer

Eric is Nick's childhood friend, and they were originally teammates for baseball and were convinced that they both could not stand each other. It wasn’t until high school that they reconnected and became much closer friends. Ever since, Eric is always Nick's go to person on anything from busting down walls in his first house to wanting to burn a couple hours talking bourbon and shooting darts.

Nathan Schmidt

Nathan is a friend from Germantown that Nick went to high school with, even though Nick and Nathan were not all that close in high school, once Nathan went off to Stevens Point, he was a friend Nick always looked forward to seeing when he came back home. It's times like spending hours out golfing or something as simple as playing Fortnite with Nathan, that Nick values his friendship the most.

We wanted to put Nick in a spot light because like Nick said in his comment about Connor, if it wasn’t for him we would not be gathering for this wedding. Nick and Nick go back to elementary school where they were in the same cub scouts troop, where Nick N. went on to be and eagle scout and Nick C. quit after one year. Ashley and Nick N. met at MSOE where they lived in the same dorm building making it easy to become good friends quickly. Due to both Ashley and Nick C. being friends with Nick N., they met through the countless weekends spent hanging out as a large group of friends and now the rest is history.
