Getting to the Shelter
The shelter is nestled in Knob Noster State Park, near the beautiful Clear Fork Lake. For the easiest route, simply search Clear Fork Lake in Johnson County, MO in your GPS — it should guide you straight to the shelter. Just in case you lose signal along the way, keep an eye out for balloons at the key turns to help you find your way. If you’re coming from Knob Noster via Highway 50: Head south on Highway 23 Turn right onto DD heading west Turn right onto NE 751st Road, going north Follow the road and make a slight right — you’ll see signs leading you to the shelter We can’t wait to welcome you there!
