Boy Meets Girl: College Edition. We both attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute and lived right down the hall from each other in Daniels Hall. We had the same group of friends and spent a lot of time playing board games, grabbing dinner together as a group, and going to campus events. During the year we became really close friends, and by the end of the year we knew we wanted to be together. We started dating on May 18, 2014, and we got engaged five years later on May 4, 2019!

During the summer of 2018 we travelled all across Connecticut to visit wineries on the wine passport program. We loved it so much, we wanted to do it all again in 2019! We decided to kick off the summer at our favorite winery, Jones Winery. We did a tasting (yum!), and then we went outside to relax and enjoy the nice day. Our close friend, Julia, took some cute and silly pictures of us, and that’s when Matthew said he loved her, pulled a jewelry box out of his pocket, and proposed with a gorgeous ring that he had picked out for almost a year! Julia captured the whole thing, and it was so sweet. After some more silly photos together, we couldn’t wait to tell our families and start planning the wedding!
