Yes! We are moving forward with our (new) wedding plans. Barring any significant legislative changes we are planning a ceremony and reception that we feel will be both safe and fun.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be entirely outdoors. In the event of rain, we will have tents (without sides). Just keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
1) Ceremony seating will be assigned. The seating assignments will be grouped based on household (or specific requests) and will be set up to abide by social distancing requirements. 2) For the reception we will not be having a formal sit down dinner, nor will there be any dance party, unfortunately. 3) Reception seating will not be assigned, we will have cocktail tables and seating areas set up across the lawn of our venue. We encourage you to sit wherever you feel most comfortable and safe. (If you prefer to bring a blanket and sit on the lawn please feel free to do so!) 4) We will have hand sanitizer readily available at many locations across the property. 5) We will have masks available 6) Masks will be required in shared spaces (bar area, food stations, bathrooms, etc.)
Even with the precautions we’ve laid out here it is impossible for us to guarantee everyone’s safety. While we do hope that you can come, we know that understanding all the risks of attendance, there may be some of you that feel safer celebrating from the sidelines. We completely understand no matter what decision you make. We look forward to celebrating with you in whatever form that may take.
