We met each other through very unconventional terms through online gaming. One random night in Oct of 2016 by random chance, a mutual friend had invited us both to join in a game of League of Legends. Long after the others had signed off and went to bed, we stayed behind and just chatted into the early hours of the morning. A friendship quickly blossomed and we were texting each other about everyday. I was a girl from across the river of Philadelphia, he from the very different city of Richmond. And so, partly because he loves to travel to new places, Mack asked if I would be interested in meeting up in Philly to hang out with a good friend. On Valentine's, I got a text late at night officially asking me out as that upcoming trip was actually a way to ask me out, instead of just a hangout. And the rest is history, we've had ups, we've had downs, but we've always had each other's backs. Finally, after 7 years I get to say I do with my best friend. We are honored that we can do so in front of all of you.
