What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

The Dress Code for the wedding is " Black Tie." This means formal evening wear. For the gentlemen, this usually implies a tuxedo with a black tie or bow tie, patent leather shoes, and a formal dress shirt. Suits are also acceptable. For the Ladies, an elegant evening gown. Remember that black tie events are slightly upscale, so aim for an elegant, sophisticated look. Check out the look book tab for more inspiration.

The Ceremony and Reception will be held at Knotting Hill Place in Little Elm, TX.

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend the wedding! However, if you’re hoping for a child-free night, we recommend arranging childcare so you can fully enjoy the event. We do ask that if your child has difficulty sitting quietly during the ceremony or the first dance, we kindly request that they be seated in the balcony area. This will allow for easy entry and exit without disrupting the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there Assigned Seating?

Answer

Pick a Seat, Not a Side. We’re All Family Once the Knot is Tied. There is no assigned seating for the wedding. You are welcome to sit wherever you like! However, please note that the first three rows will be reserved for close family and friends of the couple.

What happens if I’m running late?

Answer

If you do happen to run late, don’t stress! Our wedding coordinator will be there to guide you up to the balcony area, ensuring there are no interruptions to the ceremony. This way, you can still enjoy the event without disrupting the flow, and you’ll be comfortable with easy access to your seat. We encourage you to leave 30–40 minutes ahead of time to avoid traffic and ensure you arrive stress-free. This will give you plenty of time to enjoy the book signing and find a good seat before the ceremony begins. We want you to be able to fully enjoy the experience without rushing!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony. There will be a professional photographer capturing all the special moments, and we want to avoid phones in the photos, flashlights going off, or cell phones ringing during the event. Please feel free to enjoy the ceremony fully, and if you'd like, you can take photos during the reception! Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories.

Where do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP in a few easy ways! There's an RSVP tab on our website, and there’s also a QR code on your invitation that you can scan to fill out the form. If you’re unable to scan the code, no problem — just text 903-274-6443 to let us know if you’ll be attending.
