What is guest attire?

Answer

Attire is black tie optional - garden chic. Tuxes and gowns are welcome as well as suits and formal dresses! Don't be afraid to experiment with colour and patterns. Since it’s a garden wedding, consider footwear like wedges or flats for comfort on grass.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3pm, so we kindly ask guests to arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time for seating. Grab a cocktail, enjoy the views and mingle with guests.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place at Simple Springs, Laura and Ian Johnston's family farm. 41301 Cardiff Road Brussels, Ontario.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available onsite. Parking will be in the field by the house.

Can I camp onsite?

Answer

Yes! For anyone interested in extending the celebration, onsite camping is available. Bring your tent, camper, or van to enjoy the beautiful venue overnight. We ask that you bring your camper on the Wednesday/Thursday Prior to the wedding. We ask you DO NOT bring your camper on the Friday or Saturday.

What’s the plan for the next morning?

Answer

We’re hosting a casual brunch the next morning for all overnight guests (and anyone else who wants to join!). It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, recap the fun, and enjoy some good food together before heading home. This is a potluck brunch so bring your own brunch dish.

What is RSVP deadline?

Answer

RSVP's are due by June 1st 2025. This gives us enough time to finalize our numbers and details.
