Matron of Honor
Kait is Ashley's matron of honor! The two met when they were in college back in 2017 in a metalsmithing class where Ashley gave Kait a hand late one night working on a project and the two have been close ever since! They make it their priority to see each other as often as schedules and drives allow despite being long distance friends, and love to grab a delicious dinner, throw twilight on the tv, and make any and every craft they can think of! Kait has been Ashley's constant for years and she couldn't imagine the thought of getting married without her by her side.
Matron of Honor
Cassi is Lauren's matron of honor! The two met in high school through friends! They became best friends after a family trip with Cassi's family to Tennessee where Lauren was Cassi's third choice to go on the trip. Cassi and Lauren have continued an amazing friendship even through long distance, living together, and more!
Man of Honor
Wyatt is Ashley's man of honor. The two have known each other for almost 12 years at this point, having met because of Wyatt's older sibling. The two lost touch for a few years but reconnected during a hard time in both of their lives. They have since helped each other work through dating, breakups, SEVERAL moves, engagements, and of course MANY games of Mario Kart.
Bridesmaid
Page and Lauren met in gradate school at the University of Central Missouri. The two hit it off within the first week of graduate school on a street corner next to a stop sign. After that, the two became inseparable and was given the nickname "Thelma and Louise" by staff! After graduate school, the two moved across country from each other and have only seen each other in person two times! This has not stopped the two of them from staying in constant contact and continuing their friendship!
Bridesmaid
Carly and Ashley met in the same metalsmithing class as Kait and Ashley. It was a struggle for all involved. They truly became close friends through "The Art House;" which was a rental house shared by several people in the art department during the girls time at college where everyone gathered for holidays like "Galentines" and "Galloween." Despite Carley and the bride taking a little longer to open up, their friendship was worth the wait. Since graduation the two have kept in close touch, always being a shoulder to lean on and a level head to solve any problem in either one's life.
Bridesman
Joe and Lauren met in gradate school at the University of Central Missouri. The two took a little extra time to become friends, but once they got to know each other became really close! Joe, Lauren, and Page were inseparable their second year of graduate school. Joe and Lauren spend most of their time together poking fun at each other and goofing off! After graduate school both Lauren and Joe moved away from central Missouri, but a little distance has never stopped them from keeping in touch; whether it be by a late night facetime or an impromptu birthday flight, the two always make it work!
Bridesmaid
Tegan and Ashley have been causing trouble together since birth! They are cousins by birth but friends by choice. From the time they could walk and talk they were always finding SOME way to stay together. At the end of every family Christmas, the pair were inevitably begging both sets of parents to let them spend the night together at whoever's house they could convince! Since becoming adults, they have gotten even closer, talking almost every day.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Lauren have been friends since their freshman year of high school in 2009, which rolled into their combined attendance at EIU in 2013. Their go to activity is concert going as they love following their favorite band "The Summer Set" as well as any other show that looks like a good time. Together they have gone to easily over 20 and intend to go to many more! The two always find ways to have fun together no matter what the circumstance and keep one another always laughing.
Bridesmaid
Chandler and Ashley met working at Sparta High School when the two began sharing a doorway this year. The two can be found most days standing by each other in the hallway shooting shit, bothering one another on their plan periods, and dragging other to the end of each day. Chandler has also helped Ashley with several late projects at the school (against her will).
Bridesmaid
Alexis and Lauren met at Chico State in California where they became co-resident hall workers in the same building. The two were fast friends. Alexis and Lauren loved to hit up their local Dutch Bro's on a regular basis for their coffee fix. They haven't had the opportunity to hang out face to face in almost 5 years due to distance (as Cali isn't all that close to Illinois) but they have stayed close despite the cross country difficulties. Lauren is looking forward to not only having Alexis in town for the wedding, but also to the inevitable Dutch Bro's trip awaiting them near the airport.
Bridesmaid
Ashley has had the pleasure of knowing Rachel since beginning her job at SHS. She kindly did her best to help Ashley stay afloat during her first semester as a first year teacher. A difficult task to be sure ;) Rachel has been a steady force for Ashley offering support and kindness through every step of both her teaching and wedding planning journey. Their after school yap sessions cover all spices of life from what kind of decoration shenanigans the two can get up to, to deciphering when Taylor will drop the Reputation album (we're still waiting), or what poor choices a student made that day.
Bridesmaid
Addie and Lauren met at Tamaroa Grade School as coworkers! From the start the two became friends who were constantly in one another's classroom whenever possible! They are often seen talking about: Taylor Swift, their students and the wild decisions they make, coffee, proposal planning, and more! While they may not have known each other for years and years, the support Addie and Lauren give one another is unbeatable.
