We’re getting married!

Ashley and Kristain were both born in New York with Caribbean backgrounds yet didn't know they would meet their soulmate in Florida while in college. Before meeting, they studied for their bachelor's degrees at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Little did they know, they were both in the College of Business and would soon cross paths by taking the same classes. Ashley and Kris met on Halloween through mutual friends and bonded over their shared interests in video games, baseball, and comics. Their bond grew stronger as they spent almost all their free time as together going to the theater and watching movies together. We are honored to celebrate our love with friends and family and can't wait to share our joy with everyone.

Kris proposed to Ashley by recreating their first date which involved watching the movie Black Panther. On November 18th, 2022, Kris took Ashley to watch the movie Black Panther 2, and afterward, they went to a restaurant in Maryland where they celebrated their first Valentine's Day after moving from Florida. It was there where he popped the question.
