FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ashley Covington and Kenji Larsen
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We would love for your entire family to join us for our wedding. Please indicate in the RSVP section how many are in your crew.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! There will be a place to note a food allergy in your RSVP. Feel free to check in with us if you're concerned.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Day celebration will be outdoors pending the judgement of Tlaloc, the rain god. There will be options for shade and time to explore the park. If it is projected to be raining all day, the ceremony will be at Casa de la Bola. Evening celebration will be indoors inside a courtyard.

Question

How much should I tip?

Answer

Generally, you should tip about 10% - 15% at a restaurant. Servers will ask if you want to tip or add propina at the end of your meal.

Question

Climate & Weather?

Answer

Mexico City sits at 7,349 feet above sea level, so the altitude can be noticeable. Be sure to stay well hydrated. Being at a high altitude (over 7,300 feet) the climate remains mild most of the year. August typically has a high of 75 and a low of 55. August falls within rainy season, with short bursts of rain typically in the late afternoon or evening so perhaps come prepared with some rain gear if you plan to be touristing.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes, please don't hesitate to ask if you would like to bring a guest and this is not already indicated on your RSVP.

Question

Water?

Answer

To stay feeling your best, we recommend using bottled or filtered water for drinking and brushing teeth while in Mexico City. A small precaution that goes a long way ✨

Question

Safety?

Answer

CDMX is one of the largest cities in the world, larger than New York City! Treat it as you would any major city: stay aware and wear comfortable walking shoes.
