“CountdownToFreeman”

They met on a warm summer day in 2018. They were preparing to go on a trip with our camp kids. Kayshawn approached and said to Ashley: “Excuse me miss, Do you have brothers”. He proceeded to name her brothers and guessed correctly. She was very blown away by the “Excuse me miss” part, rather than “ayo Ma”. It was nearly love at first sight but it wasn’t until a few days later, mid pizza party that the motion built up and Kayshawn asked Ashley for her Snapchat. It was moments later that Ashley ended her day early but sent a chat asking Kayshawn, “How did you keep you slides on” referring to a video of Kayshawn back flipping off of the monkey bars with adidas slides on. Instantly the two become best friends and were stuck to each others’ hips. Ashley proceeded to go back to school as Kayshawn would maintain visits. Fast forward and the couple began to properly date, travel the world and explore a new life together. The rest was history. Fast forward and the two are engaged and ready to be married and spending forever together.

On the anniversary of when they first met, they found ourselves at Disney World. Already prepped and on edge from ring shopping Ashley knew Kayshawn was on a mission to propose. Enjoying the bliss at Disney as the trip was coming to an end, Ashley was caught off guard at their anniversary dinner when a song came on in STK restaurant. Bruno Mars “I Think I Wanna Marry You” blasted through the restaurant. Ashley distracted with her ice cream looked around to see what was going to happen and found Kayshawn bending on one knee. The moment was magical and he was finally doing it. Ashley ecstatic and still taking in the moment replied “Yes, The answer is always yes”. And the two have been happily engaged since. They automatically planned to be married by their next anniversary date which would be Aug 1st.
