Well, what can we say!? We both swiped RIGHT! Thanks to the buzz of Bumble, we have been with each other ever since. Our first date was at Tierney’s Irish Pub in Montclair, NJ. When Justin asked Ashley where she would like to go on their first date, she simply responded, “a dive bar.” He could not have been more thrilled with her no frills answer. We have spent every weekend (and almost every day) together after our first round of Guiness that night. We had so much fun on our second date that Justin almost missed his flight to Jamaica the next morning due to bar hopping with Ashley around our new stomping ground in Montclair. Fast forward to 7 months later and we moved into our first apartment together just a few blocks away from the Irish Pub where we first met. On Monday, April, 26th Ashley came home from school craving a burrito and nutella nachos. We decided to order from a local mexican joint to fulfill Ashley's cravings. When the order arrived, Justin placed it down on our kitchen table and sadly said that they gave us the wrong order. Ashley, being hangry as ever, ran to the bag to look inside. To her surprise she saw nothing but napkins. As she turned around Justin was on one knee with a ring in hand and asked Ashley to be his wife. Shortly afterwards we were happily greeted by our family on our rooftop and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and endless champagne toasts. We are truly blessed to have each other and to be joining one another's wonderful families and friends. We look forward to celebrating with you and let the party begin!
