Elizabeth and I both joined Pi Beta Phi in 2010 and were part of the same pledge class. The first time we talked was because I was late to her initiation (oops). I gave her a card and she still gives me a hard time about it and will probably bring it up in her speech :) We didn't really get to know each other until Junior year, though, when Elizabeth posted on facebook about finding a house. Since she and I were the first ones to move in and not talking would have been awkward, we decided to go to a party together at Alyssa's. Six years later we are still best friends! From parties, wine tastings, and now a wedding, I am so excited to share this experience with one of my best friends.
Alyssa Hungate

Alyssa and I met through my potluck roommate freshman year of college. Through all the hot messes and late nights, Alyssa has become on of my best friends. We immediately hit it off; Alyssa and I both have the same sense of humor and we still laugh about all of our inside jokes from college #PGP. From spring break with her and Elizabeth to now, we have never stopped having a good time together and I'm lucky to call her a friend. I was lucky enough to be Alyssa's bridesmaid in her April wedding and I am so excited to have her by my side as I say I do!
Megan Struckholz

I met Megan through Pi Beta Phi my freshman year of college. I was lucky enough to become Megan's little sis, and we have been inseparable ever since. When I moved to Fort Wayne after graduation, Megan was the only person there I knew. Fort Wayne is Megan's hometown and I was very grateful to have her with me during my first year on my own. Even though we live two hours apart now, Megan is still one of my closest friends and I can't wait for her to be by my side on my wedding day!
Lacey Randolph

Lacey and I met in college through Alyssa and instantly bonded over our love for alternative bands including A Day to Remember. We spent a lot of our summers going on adventures and really just hanging out whenever we could. When we weren't at Evan's (Lacey's boyfriend) house we were sitting on our porch or hanging out with our neighbors down the street. Lacey always knows how to have a good time and there is never a dull moment between us. Lacey is one of those people that always lights up a room and never meets a stranger. Through her I have made so many friends and continue to love having her around :)
Peyton Hoskins

Peyton is Justin's younger sister and has always treated me like part of the family. We have always had a good time together, whether its playing Euchre with Justin and Brady or seeing each other at Notre Dame tailgates. I'm excited to officially have her as a sister and see what other fun stories we will have in the future.
Chelsea Hummel

I met Chelsea through Alyssa freshman year because she was Alyssa's little sister. Throughout our time together, though, Chelsea has become the sister I never had. We are both nurses, so we have spent a lot of time bonding over a lot of unique experiences :) Chelsea is always a voice of reason and I will be glad to have her during the chaos of the wedding.
Ben Waddell
Best Man
I met Ben through an old college buddy that lives in the Indianapolis area. We teamed up to survive the Indianapolis 500 and have been partners in crime ever since. Ben is a very laid back go with the flow person, like my self, but is always there when I need him and great to consult when I need advice. He introduced me to helping the cystic fibrosis foundation and we both share a love for nerdy hobbies and a great bourbon drink. He has always been there when I've needed him and I'm honored to have him as a best man.
Jordan Basinger
Best Man
I met Jordan my second semester at IU through our fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi. We have been attached at the hip ever since. We have been roommates for several years, we didn't always get along through the process, but always remained best friends and brothers. We share a love of a great drink and a good time and made it a point to always be there for each other when its needed. So much so that every year since my 21st birthday Jordan has adjusted holiday time just to make sure he's in south bend with me on my birthday for a good time. I'm lucky to know Jordan and to have him as my best man.
Brady Hoskins

Brady is my little brother and I always tried to make it a point to be there for him and make sure he knew he was loved even with 14 years separating us. We have always had fun, whether that's me shooting him with Nerf darts, him showing me how much more athletic he is, beating me in basketball or our favorite past time terrorizing our sister Peyton. I've always been thankful that we are as close as we are and I'm extremely glad he will be up there with me for the most important moment of my life.
Austin Pletcher

I've been friends with Austin since we first met briefly at a summer camp followed by playing T-ball together. No matter how long we haven't seen each other or even talked, we always seem to pick up right where we left off. Life has set us both on different paths and separated us by time and distance, but I know no matter what happens hes always there ready to talk about the most recent colts move or re-live the hundreds and hundreds of stories we have over the 24 years of friendship. I'm incredibly thankful for his friendship and to have him up there for my ceremony.
Matt Macauley

Even though I have only known Matt for about a year and a half, the friendship has been as strong as any I've had. We almost instantly bonded over our fondness for a great beer or bourbon and love of all things nerdy. It's been short, but we already have a ton of stories and inside jokes we share. He always jokes that I'm the extrovert that makes him go out and be social, but I'm confident we will see his personality come out once the drinks flow at the reception. I'm glad to know him and look forward to having him in there on the big day.
Josh Barrett

Josh is Ashley's younger brother and has always treated me like part of the family. We have always had a good time together, whether that was having a blast on vacation in Florida or jamming out to TechN9ne at the Murat theater in Indianapolis. Like brothers, Josh and I enjoy giving each other a hard time, but its all in good fun with love behind it. I'm excited to officially have him as a brother and see what other fun stories we will have in the future.
