A Love Story, Eight Years in the Making Join Us in Jamaica for the Celebration of a Lifetime

We’ve shared eight years of love, laughter, and learning—and we’ve grown a lot along the way. Through job changes, life curveballs, personal challenges, and plenty of new beginnings, we’ve built a life full of compassion, resilience, and a deep love that only gets stronger with time. From our cozy two-bedroom apartment (shared with three dogs and two cats!) to long talks about our future over takeout, we’ve created a home that’s messy, real, and totally ours. This wedding isn’t just a celebration of our love—it’s a celebration of everything we’ve worked through to get here, and everything we’re dreaming of next.

We’re getting married in Jamaica, and we can’t wait! This has been a dream of ours for years—and after eight together (and a whole lot of growing, healing, and learning), it’s finally happening. Think: sun, ocean breeze, a meaningful handfasting ceremony, and the two of us promising forever surrounded by the people who matter most. Now, if you can’t make it to the island—don’t worry. There will be a livestream of the ceremony, so you can still be a part of our big moment from wherever you are (sweatpants and snacks welcome). Just don’t forget to RSVP, even if you’re attending virtually—we still want to celebrate with you! This wedding has been handcrafted with love, spreadsheets, caffeine, and pure stubborn determination. With Jay in school full-time, me navigating a new career (while currently on a leave), and both of us juggling real life with big dreams—this celebration has truly been a labor of love. Every detail, every plan, and every joyful meltdown has been fueled by hope, humor, late-night takeout, and more than a few “what are we doing?!” moments. It’s not perfect—but it’s so us, and it means the world that you’re here to witness it. Whether you’re joining us in Jamaica or cheering us on from home, you’re part of something incredibly special—and we couldn’t do this without you.

We’re not doing a traditional registry because, truthfully, we’ve already got most of the basics—we’re still in our cozy two-bedroom with our chaos crew (three dogs, two cats, zero closets). What we’re really after now are memories and meaningful moments. Our registry is still centered on experiences—like massages, romantic dinners, help with our videographer, family planning, and a little resort upgrade magic. But since we’re having a shower (and some folks love gifting tangible things), we’ve added a few thoughtful items too—things to refresh our space, enjoy date nights, make memories with our pups, and prep for Jamaica. However you choose to celebrate with us—through a gift, kind words, or cheering from afar—we’re so grateful. Your love and support mean the world.
