We met as friends all the way back in middle school. Freshman year of high school we had our first class together and our friendship began to grow. Laughing, talking and with an occasional trip to after school detention together - we began to fall in love.

In the summer of 2022 we took a trip to one of our favorite summer getaways, Long Beach Island. Planned by Joe, we set sail on a romantic sunset cruise around Barnegat Light. Right as the sun was setting, Joe reached into the cooler (his clever hiding place) grabbed the ring and got down on one knee. It was the easiest decision of my life. YES!

Our wedding date is a very special day to us. It will be our 12th year dating anniversary. On March 30, 2012 Joe asked me to be his girlfriend. When we saw March 30th of 2024 was a Saturday we new instantly it should continue on as our wedding anniversary.
