When should I RSVP by?

What if I cannot find my name in the RSVP link?

While Jon and I have spent countless hours planning our special day, we realize we may have overlooked a few of our special quests. If this is the case please reach out to Ashley at (252) 721-1667 no later than April 28th, 2025 so you and your guest(s) can be accounted for.

Can I Bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity restrictions and fire code, this event will be by invitation only.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones just as much as you do, this will be an adults only event. We ask that you use this as an opportunity as a night off and make prior arrangements for your children.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue grounds no later than 4pm to allow adequate time to park and find a seat. P.S. Jon says... Saville time is to arrive no later than 3:30pm :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is located in a gravel lot on the venue grounds. There will be parking attendants to greet and direct guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

At this moment, we have not arranged a shuttle bus to and from hotels. More details to come!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Jon and I ask that you come dressed in casual attire but please keep in mind, our wedding will be hosted mid-summer and in a barn.

Can you smoke on the venue grounds?

Answer

The Barns of Kanak is a smoke and vape-free venue; however, there is a designated smoking area in the back of the property.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing wine at cocktail hour. We will also provide a wide variety of beer, seltzers, wine, and champaign during the reception. Please note that the bar will close 30minutes prior to our event's end time. We also ask that you refrain from bringing your own alcohol onto the venue grounds.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing light refreshments and snacks during cocktail hour along with dinner during the reception. If you leave hungry, that is on you! :)
