This is where we went on our first date and it is also where Jonny proposed!! Go around sunset and sit at the bar :)
Bon Vivants
Our favourite coffee/cocktail bar! It is a fun local spot to grab a cup of something and sit indoors in their quirky lounge or relax on their outdoor patio! On Sundays, they have a pop up Farmers Market in the morning :)
Sunset Beach Club
A fun casual bar with bites, perfect for watching the sun set over the ocean! Great for large groups.
Dino's Gourmet Conch Salad
If you're craving a conch salad, go to Dino's! The original tropical conch salad stand. Pro tip: if you want more conch than veggies in your salad, ask for the Scorch Conch! It is made up of conch, onion, lime & sour orange!
Pirate Republic Brewing
If you're into craft beers, check out Pirate Republic Brewery & Tap Room in Downtown Nassau!
Graycliff Hotel
Built by a notorious pirate, Nassau's Graycliff Hotel is an 18th century treasure trove containing some of the oldest and rarest wines. Their wine cellar is the fourth largest in the world. Whether you're interested in coming here for dinner, to make your own chocolates, blend a bottle of wine or check out the cigar factory, there is lots to do at Graycliff! Just down the road from the National Art Gallery you can make an afternoon out of visiting them both! Call ahead to arrange any special experience :)
National Art Gallery of the Bahamas
If you're looking to experience some culture and would like to see Bahamian art at its finest, check out the National Art Gallery in Downtown, Nassau!
Bahama Hand Prints
Looking for something authentically Bahamian to take home with you? Check out one of the Bahama Hand Prints stores, located in Sandyport or Harbour Bay. They make beautiful handbags, beach towels, clothing, pillows, etc using their own handmade printed fabrics! If you'd like to see how the fabrics are made, check out the Harbour Bay location which also is home to their hand screen printing factory!
Old Fort Bay Club
If you are staying at the Island House, take advantage of the beach at Old Fort Bay. This is one of our favorite beaches in Nassau!
