Two friends of ours (shout out to Iris & Frank) were meeting up for drinks, they both invited us (neither of us were interested in going lol) but we thank God that we did. We ended up having drinks and great convo at Harolds Ice Bar, followed by learning that we both enjoy cigars at Nikki's smoke room & then ended our night pillow talking until about 4am! We had out next "date" the very next day where we spent the day together working remotely, went to dinner and came back to watch movies, we've been inseparable ever since!

Apparently, John knew he wanted to propose very early on in our relationship (but life also happens)! So, he had been planning and deciding how to propose for quite some time. 2024 came and he started putting his plans into motion, he covered every detail, from having our family and close friends in attendance, picking an amazing ring (without us ever talking about rings), catering food, having champagne flown in from France (s/o to Joe!), down to the cutest party favors for everyone! Most importantly he got me out of our house so that he could set this amazing event up! The rest is history, he could barely ask me before I was crying and nodding yes!!
