One evening in March, some mutual friends were getting together and Ashley and Jerome were introduced. It led to a first date seeing the sights of downtown Halifax. After a few months of dating we were at a crossroads, with Ashley deploying and Jerome leaving for a year long course out west, we made the decision to make the long distance work. We took every opportunity to find time to see one another with trips to Portugal, Malta, Greece and Florida. Then on one special trip Thanksgiving weekend, overlooking the city of Nashville, Jerome asked the big question!
