Dear Family and Friends, With COVID-19, we’ve had to modify our wedding plans this year. While we can’t safely have a big wedding this summer, we’ve decided to switch gears and have a small ceremony to still get married on August 16. With that said, it won’t be the same not celebraring with all of you! So, when it’s safe to do so, we will reschedule our big wedding celebration and can’t wait to have you all there and give all the hugs we can! Until then, stay safe and healthy. Love, Ashley & Jeff
Our first date...started just as you'd imagine. Cute coffee shop in San Francisco, delicious pastries, and all the small talk. What proceeded, none of us could've planned any better. This particular Saturday, Jeff’s friends spotted him through the coffee shop window after the Warriors had just won a playoff basketball game. They interrupted our date and invited us to hang out on their rooftop. We decided to join and after several more hours, Jeff ultimately canceled his dinner plans with his family to keep the date going. What started as a 1 hour coffee date turned into an 8 hour first date. It was safe to say, things were off to a good start.
On our one year anniversary, Jeff proposed on a pier at Lake Tahoe. Ashley loves water, sunsets, and surprises, so needless to say, this was the perfect plan. As a stranger was taking our picture, Jeff said "Let's change up the pose" and turned to get down on one knee and popped the question. Having absolutely no idea this was going to happen, Ashley was thrilled to say YES!
