We met while working together at Brown Motors. I had heard that he got a puppy, naturally I went up to him and said "I need to see your puppy"! He put his arm around me an said " most girls are not that forward". Obviously I then had to avoid him. Fast forward two weeks and he brought the puppy to work and tossed her in my lap and went back to work. I played with her for a bit then took her back to him. I set her on his work space and they were so cute together. He was typing and she was so nicely sitting in-between him and the keyboard. I grabbed his phone and snapped a picture. He so smoothly said what's your number I will text it to you. The rest was history!

It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving I had worked and then rushed home to get ready to go pick out our Christmas tree. It was the first Christmas in our new home. So everything needed to be perfect! We had invited our friends over to help us decorate and enjoy a meal together. I was working on getting the homemade pasta dough ready when Jeff asked if I could take a break. The "kids" have a little surprise for me. So he sat me down in my chair and the kids each had letter with their reasons for why they are thankful for me. So sweet and Olivia's even brought tears to my eyes. I thanked them and tried to go back to my work. Jeff said no I have reasons too. Then he said " I appreciate how hard working you are, and all the sacrifices you make for our family" then I think I blacked out as he proceeded to get on one knee. I am fairly confident he said more but all I heard is "Will you be my wife?"
