Ours is not a love-at-first-sight story, and we love that about it. Almost two years after Jeff began working at Union University College of Pharmacy, friends and colleagues started commenting on how perfect the two of us would be together. Jeff was open to the idea, but one of us (no names mentioned…) was a bit more resistant. After plenty of encouragement from trusted friends, Ashley agreed to a first date, secretly hoping it would go poorly so she could say she had at least tried. Unfortunately for her (but wonderfully for Jeff), the date went far better than expected. So, she said yes to another. And another. Nearly three years later, we are both so grateful for that first yes. The adventures we’ve shared, the laughter, the quiet moments, and the memories we’ve built have shown us again and again that we were meant to be, even if we didn’t see it right away. We may not have started on the same page, but today we couldn’t be more excited to begin our life together, creating new memories and adventures as husband and wife.
