When we first met at our church youth ministry's ugly sweater Christmas party, in December 2017, we never thought it would lead to forever. During our friendship we cherished backpacking together, rock climbing, finding the best ice cream farms and movie going. In the summer of 2019, Ashley had a decision to make: continue teaching in Massachusetts for her fourth year, or move back home to California, closer to family. She decided to stay in Massachusetts and follow her heart, which was saying "date Jeff, he is the one!". In the meantime, Jeff had already made up his mind that where Ashley went, he was willing to follow. Then on September 21st, they made it official; best-friendship to a relationship! Jeff popped the big question while visiting Ashley's family during Christmas 2019. She said yes! We were originally planning our marriage ceremony with family during the summer of 2020 in the Sequoias, but life had other plans and instead we were married in a private ceremony by our pastor on April 18th 2020. Now, on our second wedding anniversary, we are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with friends and family.
