Jaylan's Perspective: It was a hot summer day in Tuscaloosa. Me and my roommate were hungry and short on some cash so we decided to go to a crawfish boil on the strip. We were up there for a good little minute when one of our friend's walked up with one of her friends who she introduced us to as "Roy". We were talking as a group for a while and as time went by me and "Roy" kept talking for majority of the day. The conversation ranged from our majors, where we were from, to our interests. In talking with Roy, I knew there was something special about her. So special that I eventually started calling Roy by her first name and asked her to take my last name.

Ashley's Perspective: When we were in college at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide), one semester I had this class at 8am on Tuesday's and Thursdays. I would get to campus around 7:40 and take one of the Crimson buses to my class in Lloyd Hall. I started to notice this guy that drove an old school Honda with an Omega tag around the license plate. Fast-forward to Summer 2015, my friend Jasmine Banks (Kornegay) and I were studying for the LSAT and decided to take a study break and go to Rounder's. Ironically, that guy I was interested in happened to be there with his friend Josh Harper grubbing on some crawfish. As the day proceeds, we begin to interact and talk amongst a group of people. As the conversations goes on, everyone starts to disperse and it's just Jaylan and I talking. He asks me for my number and the rest is history.
