Jay and Ashley met the old fashioned way…on a dating app! Despite Ashley having to cancel their first date due to being sick and postpone their second because she was called in to work, Jay decided she was worth the wait. Within a few dates, they knew this was something special. However, after only knowing each other a few weeks Jay was called away for a month for national guard training. Ashley wasn’t so sure she would be hearing from him again and so she told no one he existed. Meanwhile, while in California, Jay was telling everyone about Ashley and FaceTiming her almost every day. When he came home, he took her to see her favorite country artist, Clay Walker, and the rest was history. After a little over a year of dating, Jay got down on one knee outside of the restaurant they had their first date and asked Ashley if she wanted to make it forever. After finishing a residency and a bachelors degree together and 2 + year engagement, they are very excited to finally be tying the knot!

Jay is a lifelong Cardinals fan. Ashley has agreed to wear Cards gear, as long as they are not playing the Astros!
