Our Engagement Story
Colombia 2023
At sunrise, on morning of September 16, 2023 we went for a walk on the beach. As we strolled along the shoreline we talked about our dreams of owning a shore home one day. When we were in front of this casita that resembled a home we would want to purchase. Javi asked me to pause a minute in our walk. I did and when I turned around, he was on one knee holding the ring. He then stated, “With the beginning of a new day, so will this be the beginning of the rest of our lives together. Ashley, will you marry me? I said yes!!!!”
