Jason and Ashley first met briefly during their time at Southwestern University. They were thrilled when their paths crossed again in Houston. It was perfect timing. Ashley moved to Houston to begin medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, and Jason returned after finishing his master’s degree at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. They quickly made Houston feel like home together by cheering on the Astros, finding the best concerts, and discovering their go to Tex Mex spot. El Tiempo became their place, and they celebrate every big moment there, usually with steak fajitas and frozen margaritas. On 12/7/24, Jason asked Ashley to be his wife in front of the stunning Houston skyline. They love that they share the same core values of faith, hard work, and quality time with friends and family. Now, they cannot wait to see where life takes them next as Ashley begins radiation oncology residency and they step into this next chapter together.
