Groom
As Ashley walked in, I laid eyes on a beautiful blonde haired girl and I had to introduce myself. Unfortunately, we didn’t have room at our table for them to sit and the music was weird, which is a kind adjective. I knew we had to get out of there. We traveled down the street to SportsTown. This was where I had my first conversation with Ashley and I asked her if she wanted to be my foosball partner. Lucky for me, she said yes! I think we actually lost that game, but I knew I was the real winner because I had her by my side! Ashley reluctantly gave me her phone number. She told me she was leaving for Michigan on a Thursday so I knew I had a short window of time to take her out or she would forget about me! In the next couple of days, she would say “Yes” to our first date, and here we are.
Bride
During that "least expected it" Saturday night, I knew that Jared was going to be someone special to me. The butterflies began while we played that infamous game of air hockey. He says he took it easy on me, but in reality, I gave him a tough run for his money. Ten minutes later, Jared and his slick moves slyly asked me for my number - a little too slyly, so I declined. However, my heart grew fonder when he flushed after spilling a drink on my purse. I could've cared less but he was so concerned. It was cutely endearing so I caved and gave him my number. Jared showed up the next day for brunch, again later that week for dinner and time after time. One home, three fur babies, and three years later, here we are! I'm blessed to be one of those lucky girls who gets to marry her person.
