On the one-year anniversary of our first date, Jake planned a day full of special moments, including a “couples photoshoot” at Airlie Gardens. Little did I know, he had something even more magical in store. In the middle of our photos, he surprised me with a heartfelt proposal and a stunning ring, custom-designed by my cousin Colby Byrd of Shelton Metal. It was the most beautiful surprise and an absolutely perfect moment.
