How far is the venue from Denver Airport? Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Snow Mountain Ranch is about two hours from DIA. You will be driving through the mountains and up and down a pass! Yes, you will need to rent a car! Hopefully people can coordinate and ride together. A car will be helpful at the venue as the wedding site is about 2 miles from the cabins/hotel.

If I stay in the cabin do I share a room?

Answer

To try to accommodate as many as possible in the cabins, we do ask people share a room. If you'd prefer to have your own room, there are hotel rooms available, about 1 mile away from the cabins/reception hall.

Are there restaurants or stores nearby?

Answer

Winter Park, CO is a large mountain town about 15 min away with a grocery store, many restaurants, bars, wineries, breweries and shopping! Things to do has some of Jake and I favorite spots!

What is the best way to avoid altitude sickness?

Answer

We'd recommend, if able, trying to come to Colorado a day prior to the wedding to acclimate to the elevation. The wedding site is >8,000 feet in elevation. Acclimating and staying hydrated (with water) will help keep you feeling well all weekend!
