It all started at Planet Fitness. Ashley was working behind the desk, and Herman was busy working on his reps. After a few friendly hellos and shared smiles, Herman couldn’t resist cracking a joke or two—and just like that, the spark was lit!

After spending a serene day at the beach, they were preparing to leave when he suggested they take a final walk by the water. As they strolled along the shore, she had no inkling of the surprise that awaited her. As the waves gently lapped at the sand, he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. Adding to the magic of the moment, her sister was there, capturing every detail with perfect photos, ensuring the moment was preserved forever. Despite the earlier disruptions, everything fell into place beautifully, making the proposal a perfect reflection of their love and the unexpected joys life brings.
