We are requiring proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR test taken up to 72 hours prior to your arrival at the Inn. Without this documentation, you will not be able to attend any of our wedding events. Please send your documents to aldermantuckerwedding@gmail.com. If you aren't vaccinated already, we encourage you to please consider it and help minimize the danger to yourself, and our high-risk and elderly loved ones. We also ask that if you feel sick to please stay home. Additionally, most events are outdoors, and masks and hand sanitizer will be supplied upon arrival. We are keeping our celebration small, not just because you are our nearest and dearest, but also because we want to keep you all safe and make sure that everyone is comfortable attending. We are closely monitoring national, state, and local guidelines and are ready to adjust accordingly. Any other COVID-related updates will be posted on this site. We will be providing limited shuttle service to and from the Asheville airport on Friday, September 3rd and Monday September 6th. If you are interested in taking the shuttle, please reach out to Ashley & Harrison with your flight information.
All guests are staying at the Greystone Inn, or at a rental property adjacent to the Inn. Guests at the Whispering Pines home will have access to golf carts for the duration of the weekend. If you need a vehicle for off-site adventures, please reach out to Ashley & Harrison.
For the rehearsal dinner: Cocktail Attire. For the ceremony: Semi-Formal For other events, including the welcome reception and the day-after breakfast dress is casual. Examples are included under the "Schedule" tab on this website. Please note that several of the events are outdoors, and may require walking through grassy areas so please plan accordingly if you are wearing heels. Block heels, wedges or flats are encouraged.
You will be able to note allergies online when you RSVP for events.
We have events that include all guests every day from Friday to Monday. The rest of the time is YOURS to enjoy. We want all of our guests to feel like they are on vacation. To schedule your personal itineraries/activities please contact the front desk at the Greystone Inn.
On Saturday, we have rented a 12-person pontoon boat for the entire day. We hope that our guests will join us for a day out on beautiful Lake Toxaway, Additionally, every evening at 5pm the Inn provides a complimentary boat cruise on the Miss Lucy. Take a refreshing beverage with you, and enjoy the ride!
All guests of the Inn have access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club, and the Lake Toxaway Marina. If you prefer hiking, the area is considered the "Land of the Waterfalls". You can also zipline, horseback ride, etc. The towns of Brevard, Cashiers & Highlands are also nearby for exploration. Greystone Inn also has a spa on site. Yes! You can make reservations at the Country Club through the front desk, or try a new area restaurant called Grande Olde Station. If you're looking for something more casual, we recommend the Panthertown Cafe.
