Miami International Airport (MIA)
Our venue is about a 1 hour drive from MIA (depending on traffic!). This is a big airport with many rental car options. There are some tolls on the most direct route, so you will want to ensure you have a "SunPass" (aka: EZ Pass) for this. Alternatively, there is a route without tolls that will take about 30-40 minutes longer if you prefer.

Our venue is roughly a 1 hour and 30 minute drive from FLL. This is a big airport with many rental car options. There are some tolls on the most direct route, so you will want to ensure you have a "SunPass" (aka: EZ Pass) for this. Alternatively, there is a route without tolls that will take about 30-40 minutes longer if you prefer.

Variety of Rental Car Companies
While it is certainly possible for you to Uber/Lyft to Key Largo from the airport, it is likely much more economical to rent a car. There are a variety of rental car options at both the Miami and Ft Lauderdale airports. Some companies are physically located on site at the airport while some are a short shuttle ride away. From experience, your safest bet is to rent from one of the companies at the airport. There may be some tempting cheaper offers at some off site locations, but check to make sure there is no "high insurance requirement" which can end up costing quite a bit! (We made this mistake)
